Biographical Information

Che-Wei Kang had a brief career in the CPBL.

Kang was drafted by the Chinatrust Whales in the fourth round of the 2006 CPBL Draft, and he hit .261/.291/.343 in the minors in 2007. His batting line was .248/.288/.273 with the big club in 2008, but the Whales expelled after the 2008 season. Kang went undrafted in the special draft, and his professional career ended.
