Biographical Information[edit]
Chad Parker was the manager of the River City Rascals of the Frontier League in 2009, taking them to the league finals, which they lost to the Lake Erie Crushers. He was named the Frontier League manager of the year for his effort, and after the season, was named manager of the Joliet JackHammers of the Northern League.
Prior to his first professional; managing job, he had served as an associate scout for the Atlanta Braves and as bench coach of the short-lived Macon Music of the South Coast League in 2007; he was slated to be the team's manager in 2008, but the league folded before the start of the season. From 2002 to 2006, he was head coach at Brewton-Parker College. He attended Berry College and played briefly in the Heartland League in 1997, going 3 for 15.
