Cerro Azul, Veracruz

Cerro Azul is located in the eastern Mexican state of Veracruz, on the Laguna de Tamiahua, an inlet of the Gulf of Mexico, 35 miles north of Tuxpan, Veracruz and 80 miles south of Tampico, Tamaulipas. Its name means Blue Mountain in Spanish and it is a center of the oil industry.
