Looking at this time and the Great Britain one leads me to ask what the criteria are for international tournaments. I know the Olympics, Baseball World Cup, European Championship, etc. are more strict than the World Baseball Classic, where you can play for whoever you want. Does having one parent from that country be sufficient? - --Mischa 21:01, 24 September 2007 (EDT)

Our 25th senior national team category to 50 players - the 16 teams from the first two World Baseball Classics, then Nicaragua, Spain, the Netherlands Antilles, Britain, Germany, France, Brazil, Belgium and Greece. The last five all got there in the last four months. Croatia's one away only. - --Mischa 10:31, 21 December 2012 (EST)

With the addition of Troy Pickford, I believe we now have pages for everyone who's played for the Greek team (at 85 players). While it's one of the newer teams (all events were 2003-2016), it's a sign of progress (almost finished a few others like Croatia, Hong Kong, Pakistan) that some of these categories are getting to "complete to date" - Mischa (talk) 18:50, 17 September 2020 (UTC)

Kasey Caras is #100 here. The 35th country to that mark, following the USA, Japan, South Korea, Cuba, Taiwan, the Netherlands, Venezuela, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, China, Nicaragua, Panama, Spain, Great Britain, South Africa, Germany, Brazil, Colombia, France, Belgium, Guatemala, the Netherlands Antilles, Sweden, Croatia, Argentina, Pakistan, the Czech Republic, the Philippines, Russia and Honduras. Since they reached 50, they've been passed by a slew of countries - Colombia (which is now past 250), Guatemala, Sweden, Croatia, Argentina, Pakistan, Czechia, the Philippines, Russia and Honduras. I think that's the biggest drop-off in the listings between two milestone markers (the Antilles was close, from 19th to 26th). Mischa (talk) 01:11, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
