Category talk:Conferences
Should this category be moved to Collegiate Conferences or Collegiate Athletic Conferences? --MichaelEng 20:34, 16 Jun 2006 (EDT)
I don't see any other context - except for a "mound conference" - in which the word would be used in baseball. Leave it like that. --Philippe 02:44, 17 Jun 2006 (EDT)
Should we move the Japanese collegiate leagues (ex. Tokyo Big Six University League) over from the leagues category? - --Mischa 07:10, 18 Jun 2006 (EDT)
Wherre should defunct conferences go? Here or a new category? or a sub-category of this one? --Just me 23:28, 24 July 2006 (EDT)
Makes sense to leave them here. Defunct leagues, teams, minor league teams, etc. don't get their own category but are included in the same category as their active counterparts. - --Mischa 08:07, 25 July 2006 (EDT)
Thinking maybe there should be sub-categories to this one - DI, DI, DIII, NAIA, JC. Thoughts? --Jeff (talk) 01:04, 28 March 2015 (EDT)
I don't think the number is too large for a single category. --Philippe (talk) 02:23, 28 March 2015 (EDT)
Two thoughts: 1) We don't do that division for schools (except JC vs. 4-year schools) or college coaches; 2) you can already find a list of conferences at a level by going to ex. NCAA Division II - --Mischa (talk) 09:42, 30 March 2015 (EDT)
Just hit 200 entries - --Mischa (talk) 00:37, 6 June 2017 (UTC)
