Biographical Information[edit]

Third baseman Casey Webster was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 24th round of the 1985 amateur draft. He hit .227/15/44 for the Batavia Trojans in 1985 and .259/20/69 for the Waterloo Indians in 1986. Webster then had his career year - .318/20/111 for the Kinston Indians in 1987 when he was named Carolina League MVP. Webster then was basically stuck in AA through 1990 when he retired, although he did get 27 games at AAA his last season.

Webster later became the baseball coach at Gladstone (OR) High School.
