[2] He went 1-0 with a 4.88 ERA for the 2018 AZL Cubs 1, walking 23 in 27 2/3 IP. In 2019, he improved to 3-3, 3.28 for the same team, fanning 48 in 46 2/3 IP. He relieved Jasier Herrera with a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the 9th versus Venezuela. He only lasted two pitches, throwing a strike to Diego Rincones before surrendering the game-losing homer. [3] He was 4-0 with 3 saves and a 5.85 ERA for the 2021 Myrtle Beach Pelicans, striking out 67 in 47 2/3 IP while improving his control (15 BB). He was taken by the New York Mets in the minor league portion of the 2021 Rule V Draft. [4]
