Biographical Information[edit]

Carlos Franco played in the minor leagues and CPBL.

Franco began his professional career with the Atlanta Braves, and he hit .181/.274/.289 for the DSL Braves in 2009. He struggled in 2010 as he only hit .218/.309/.303 in DSL, and his batting line was .123/.256/.231 for the GCL Braves. Franco improved to .239/.306/.329 in GCL in 2011, then he played 50 games with a .271/.408/.380 batting line for the Danville Braves in 2012. He collected 15 steals with a .229/.307/.284 batting line for the Rome Braves in 2013, then he batted .255/.325/.379 there in 2014. Franco then had 30 doubled with a .254/.347/.404 batting line for the Carolina Mudcats in 2015, and he hit .255/.339/.330 in 2016 for the Mississippi Braves. He also played for the Toros del Este in the winter, and his batting line was .250/.333/.370 in 34 games.

The Bani native improved to .293/.358/.560 in Mississippi in 2017, and he also hit .232/.311/.363 with 10 homers for the AAA Gwinnett Braves. He also hit .224/.316/.343 for the Toros, and his batting line was .249/.311/.414 with 16 homers in Gwinnett in 2018. Franco left the Braves chain after that season, and he crushed 13 homers with a .319/.388/.508 batting line for the independent York Revolution in 2019. He then hit .263/.383/.343 for the Tigres del Licey in then winter, and his batting line was .286/.394/.357 in 2020. Franco blasted 13 homers with a .311/.463/.599 batting line in York in 2021, and he also played in Mexico in that season. His batting line was .204/.281/.444 in 15 games for the Olmecas de Tabasco, and he played 28 games with a .284/.412/.526 batting line for the Guerreros de Oaxaca.

Franco crushed a career-high 30 homers for the Revolutions in 2022, and his batting line was .298/.413/.618 in 101 games. He then signed with the Fubon Guardians of Taiwan in August, but he only went 5-for-35 in 9 games. He then crushed 17 homers with a .374/.477/.683 batting line for the Gastonia Honey Hunters, and he also hit .339/.461/.565 in 19 games in Tabasco in 2023.
