Biographical Information[edit]
Brooke Knight is a summer collegiate manager. Knight played College Baseball at Linfield College (1991) and Oregon State University (1992-94). In 1995 he played 16 games in the Milwaukee Brewers minor league system with the Helena Brewers, backing up Robinson Cancel and Mike Kinkade at catcher. He handled 59 chances error-free and hit .235/.381/.265 with 4 runs and 4 RBI in 42 plate appearances; he had 8 walks to 2 whiffs.
After his playing career ended he coached American Legion baseball in Corvallis, OR for six years and worked as a Scout for the Montreal Expos (2001) and Florida Marlins (2002-03).
Knight worked as General Manager for the Corvallis Knights of the West Coast League. Then in 2008 he was named field manager. Knight has since gone on to become the WCL's all-time winningest manager, winning six league championships and leading the team to the playoffs every year. He has also managed in the Australian Baseball League, leading the Perth Heat to two straight championships (2010-2011/2011-2012) and took the Adelaide Bite to the 2014-2015 championship series.
