Biographical Information[edit]

Brian Wisler pitched in the minor leagues and the TML.

Wisler was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 36th round of the 1992 Amateur Draft, and he and he had a 3.60 ERA in 5 innings for the Burlington Indians in his first year. He then joined the Clarksville Coyotes as a two-way player, and he went 2-0 with a 5.79 ERA on the mound while hitting .314/.434/.489 at the plate. He also played 11 games for the Chico Heat, and he hit .429/.527/.857 with 3 homers. Wisler then recorded a 2.84 ERA in 19 appearances in Chico in 1998, and he slumped to .200/.313/.293 as an outfielder. He then had a 2.18 ERA in 16 games for the Western Warriors, and he went 2-2 with a 3.94 ERA for the Tri-City Posse in 1999. The Taipei Gida signed him in midseason, and Wisler had a 2.21 ERA in 8 games for them. The 1999 season was his last season as a professional player.
