Biographical Information

Brian Reid is the son of Scott Reid. The Florida Marlins took him in the 74th round of the 1993 amateur draft, one pick after Jason Conti. The second baseman continued on to college. He became a Detroit Tigers scout in 2002 and has signed Jeff Larish, Jonah Nickerson and Ryan Perry. He later joined the New York Mets as a scout.
