Biographical information[edit]

Outfielder Brent Clevlen was drafted by the Detroit Tigers and scout Tim Grieve in the 2nd round in 2002. He saw action in parts of four big league seasons, with his first, longest look his finest. Debuting in 2006 with 39 at bats in 31 games, Brent hit .282/.317/.641, cracking 6 extra base hits (and 3 home runs) in his 11 hits of the season. Two of the homers came in a 10-4 drubbing of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on August 1. Brent made three more big league cameos and did very little with the bat, last seeing action in 2010 for the Atlanta Braves. He took the reins of the Wichita Wingnuts in 2017, after playing some DH and first base with the independent club in 2016. In 2019, he moved on to in-league rivals the Cleburne Railroaders.
