Biographical Information[edit]

Corner infielder Braedyn Pruitt played in the New York Yankees system in 2007 and 2008. He was originally drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 21st round of the 2003 amateur draft, one pick after infielder Travis Denker, but opted not to sign. He did sign after being taken by New York in the 14th round of the 2007 amateur draft, one pick after pitcher Robert Carson. With the Staten Island Yankees in 2007, he hit .347/.458/.447 with 4 home runs, 32 RBI and 59 hits in 51 games. He fell off in 2008, hitting .218/.315/.250 with no homers and 15 RBI in 65 games between three clubs. He peaked at High A. Overall, he hit .275/.380/.337 with 4 home runs, 47 RBI and 106 hits in 116 games.
