Biographical Information[edit]

Collegiate[edit]

Bobby Pritchett pitched for the University of Central Arkansas Bears. Bobby had a 5-2 record and a 3.94 ERA with 67 strikeouts as a senior in 2010. He is the Bears' career leader in games started (39) and innings pitched (293.2) and ranks second in appearances (72) and strikeouts (237) and is third wins (18) and saves (9).

Normal CornBelters (Frontier League)[edit]

Pritchett signed with the Normal CornBelters on June 27, 2010.

In his first appearance for the CornBelters, Bobby pitched 1.0 innings in relief against the Oakland County Cruisers on June 29. He gave up 3 runs (all earned) while walking 1 and striking out 1 in his debut.

Pritchett picked up his first win of the season on July 20 against the Gateway Grizzlies when he came in to the game with one out in the 4th and finished it. He pitched 5.2 innings of shutout ball, giving up only one hit, walking just two, and striking out 6. The CornBelters won 8-4.

On July 30, Bobby pitched a strong 7.0 innings against the Florence Freedom giving up 3 runs on 5 hits, walking only 2 and striking out 12. Mike LaLuna secured the game with his 6th save of the season. The CornBelters edged the Freedom 6-4.

Pritchett finished the 2010 season with a 2-2 record and 2.86 ERA in 13 games. He started 8 of those. He struck out 79 while walking only 29. He returned to Normal for 2011 and went 9-5 with a 3.57 ERA in 19 games (18 starts).

Overall, he was 11-7 with a 33.1 ERA in 32 games (26 starts) over two seasons.
