Biographical Information[edit]

After graduating from Northeastern University, Bobby Carrington pitched for the 2008 Kansas City T-Bones (1-1, 19 H, 12 BB, 17 R in 12 2/3 IP) and Kalamazoo Kings (9 H, 11 BB, 8 R in 11 1/3 IP). Carrington signed with ADO in the Hoofdklasse for 2010 but had a horrendous debut. On April 11, he entered with a 2-1 deficit against the L&D Amsterdam Pirates and proceeded to be burned for seven runs (3 earned) in 1 1/3 IP with six hits. He did well for the year, though, going 3-3 with a 1.82 ERA and .176 opponent average. Carrington was 9th in the league in ERA (between Eddie Aucoin and Ben Grover), 4th in opponent average (behind Leon Boyd, Dushan Ruzic and Rob Cordemans), 4th in strikeouts (77, trailing David Bergman, Boyd and Ruzic) and tied for the lead in hit batsmen (10).

Carrington signed with the Astros Valencia of Spain for 2011. He allowed two runs (one earned) in six innings in an Opening Day loss to FC Barcelona, who got a no-hitter from Ricardo Hernandez.
