He allowed four hits, four walks and three runs (one earned) in three innings in the 2016 U-15 Baseball World Cup, also going 3-for-4 with a walk and a double. [1] He allowed eight walks and five runs (five earned) in four innings for the Melbourne Aces in the 2017-2018 Australian Baseball League. He was signed by Seattle Mariners scouts Tim Ballard and Tristan Loetzsch in May 2018. [2] He gave up eight runs in 6 2/3 IP in 2018-2019. He was 0-1 with 5 runs (4 earned) in 5 1/3 IP for the 2019 AZL Mariners before he had Tommy John surgery to end his season. [3]

The 2020 minor league season was then wiped out by the COVID-19 pandemic. He returned briefly in 2021, pitching five games between the ACL Mariners (2.63 ERA in 4 G) and Everett AquaSox (3 R in 1 2/3 IP). He bounced around in 2022, now as a reliever, making stops with the ACL Mariners (1 R in 2 IP), Everett (1-0, 3.18 in 4 G), the Modesto Nuts (1-1, 4.74 in 13 G) and the AAA Tacoma Rainiers (0-1, 2 R in 2 2/3 IP). He fanned 37 in 29 1/3 IP overall. He was 1-0 with a 7.00 ERA in the 2022 U-23 Baseball World Cup, getting the win against the Netherlands in 1/3 IP, beating Jiorgeny Casimiri. [4] In the 2022-2023 ABL, he pitched two shutout innings for Melbourne. He was then the second-youngest hurler on the Australian national team roster for the 2023 World Baseball Classic; only Will Sherriff was younger. [5]
