Biographical Information[edit]
Tim Ballard was a minor league pitcher who later coached in Australia and scouted.
Ballard was 6-5 with three saves and a 3.09 ERA for the 1981 GCL Royals Gold, walking only 12 in 64 innings. In '82, the right-hander went 8-5 with four saves and a 4.24 ERA for the Charleston Royals. Later in the 1980s, he moved to Australia and became active in baseball there.
Tim was a scout for the Seattle Mariners and coached junior, womens' and mens' baseball in Victoria, Australia. He signed Blake Townsend. He coached for Australia in the 2008 Women's Baseball World Cup and 2010 Women's Baseball World Cup.
