Biographical Information[edit]

Blaine Beatty won a pitching Triple Crown in the Southern League in 1994: 14 wins, 162 strikeouts and a 2.38 ERA. He made seven appearances in the bigs with the New York Mets between 1989 and 1991, with a 2.30 ERA in 15 2/3 innings. Beatty spent 11 seasons in the minor leagues with five different organizations. For the minor league portion of his career, he had a 121-69 record, a 3.85 ERA, and 1,024 strikeouts.

Beatty has worked as a pitching coach in the minors since 1998 with four different organizations.
