Biographical Information[edit]
Blaine Beatty won a pitching Triple Crown in the Southern League in 1994: 14 wins, 162 strikeouts and a 2.38 ERA. He made seven appearances in the bigs with the New York Mets between 1989 and 1991, with a 2.30 ERA in 15 2/3 innings. He has worked as a pitching coach in the minors since 1998. Beatty was scheduled to be pitching coach of the Albuquerque Isotopes in 2020 before the season was cancelled due to Covid-19.
