Biographical Information

Billy Spiers was signed as a 1st round pick in the 1987 amateur draft by the Milwaukee Brewers and scout E.E. "Red" Whitsett.

His father, Bud Spiers and brother Michael Spiers both also played for Clemson University. Carson Spiers, Michael's son and another Clemson alum, reached the majors in 2023.
