Bevill State Community College

Bevill State Community College was created in 1992, by the consolidation of two two-year colleges: Walker State Technical College, formerly a vocational/technical institution which opened in 1966, and Brewer State Junior College, a two-year academic transfer institution, created in 1969. The school cut all athletics at the end of the 2010-2011 school year, then brought athletics back in the 2017-2018 school year.
