Biographical Information[edit]
Armando Gabino began his career as a third baseman, but was converted to a pitcher in 2004. He played in the Cleveland Indians minor league system in 2004 before moving to the Minnesota Twins organization in 2005. Gabino made his major league debut with the Twins on August 25, 2009 and pitched in two games. He pitched in another five MLB games in 2010 after joining the Baltimore Orioles. Gabino completed his playing career in 2011 in the upper levels of the Orioles minor league system.
The Chicago Cubs hired Gabino in 2015 to coach their minor league pitchers.
