Biographical Information[edit]

Relief pitcher Arik Sikula began his professional career in 2011.

He was drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 36th round of the 2011 amateur draft and began his professional career that year, posting a 2.97 ERA in 18 appearances for the Bluefield Blue Jays, while striking out 35 batters in 30 1/3 innings. In 2012, he had 10 saves and a 2.45 ERA in 29 appearances for the Vancouver Canadians and in 2013, he was 6-1 with 19 saves and a 1.93 ERA in 50 appearances for the Lansing Lugnuts. Following the campaign, he was named a MiLB.com Organization All-Star. In 2014, Sikula had 31 saves, a 2.01 ERA and 80 strikeouts in 56 games (58 1/3 innings) between the Dunedin Blue Jays and New Hampshire Fisher Cats. He was a Florida State League Mid- and Post-Season All-Star that season.
