Biographical Information[edit]
Pitcher Ariel Pena was signed by scout Freddy Rodriguez for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 2007.
Pena was a member of the World Team at the 2012 Futures Game.
On July 27, 2012 Pena was traded by the Angels with AA teammates John Hellweg and Jean Segura to the Milwaukee Brewers for P Zack Greinke.
He had a rough game for the Brewers on Opening Day, April 4, 2016. Facing the San Francisco Giants, he gave up back-to-back-to-back homers to Denard Span, Joe Panik and Buster Posey in the 8th inning of a 12-3 loss.
