Biographical Information[edit]

Anthony Rebyanski was a pro pitcher and college coach.

He finished in the IUP top-10 in career strikeouts, innings pitched, complete games, starts and appearances and also hit .339 as a senior. He allowed three runs in 2 1/3 IP for the Gateway Grizzlies in 2005. He was also assistant coach at Indiana High School that year. In 2006, he was 2-4 with a save and a 3.62 ERA for the Grizzlies. With the 2007 Windy City Thunderbolts, he went 3-0 with a save and a 3.50 ERA, striking out 60 in 43 2/3 IP. He was 5th in the Frontier League with 41 games pitched. He fell to 3-2, 5.89 for the 2008 Thunderbolts to end his playing career. As a pro, he was 8-6 with two saves and a 4.50 ERA in 99 games, fanning 141 in 110 IP but walking 83. While still a player, he began his college coaching career, with IUP from 2007-2013.

From 2011-2014, he was head coach of the Butler BlueSox, winning Prospect League Manager of the Year in 2014. He was assistant coach at California University of Pennsylvania for 2015-2016. He was IUP's head coach from 2017-2021, followed by former big leaguer Steve Kline.
