Prospect League

The Prospect League is a Summer Collegiate Baseball league affiliated with the National Alliance of College Summer Baseball. For 45 years, the league operated as The Central Illinois Collegiate League. Founded in 1963 as the charter member of the NCAA Certified Summer Baseball Leagues, the CICL was one of the oldest Summer Collegiate Leagues in the country. In 2008 the CICL was operating with only five teams so expanded to eleven teams and took on the name of the Prospect League to begin the 2009 season.
