Biographical Information[edit]

Andrew Good pitched three seasons in the majors, getting most of his appearances with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2003, for whom he went 4-2, appearing mostly as a starter.

Good was born in San Diego, CA and went to high school in Rochester, MI. As a high school pitcher he had 24 consecutive victories and also hit over .500. He was drafted in the 8th round of the 1998 amateur draft and appeared with two minor league teams in 1998. In 1999 he went 11-10 for the South Bend Silver Hawks and in 2000 he went 10-9 for two teams. He had his most victories in the minors in 2002 when he was 13-6 for the El Paso Diablos. He was in the minors through 2007.

He is currently the lead pitching instructor at the Detroit Batting Academy.
