Alexander Sisyuk

Alexander Sisyuk has pitched for the Russian national team. He went 0-1 with a 3.09 ERA in the 2003 European Championship; the 20-year-old had the second-best ERA on the Russian squad. In the 2003 Baseball World Cup, Sisyuk allowed 6 runs, 9 hits and 3 homers in 3 1/3 IP. He gave up three unearned runs in three innings in the 2005 European Championship and got Russia's only save, closing out Anton Shirokiy's 7-2 win over Germany with two shutout frames.

Sisyuk allowed one run in five innings in the 2007 European Championship, striking out seven, walking five and giving up two hits.
