- Born September 30, 2000 in Buenos Aires Argentina
Biographical Information[edit]
Agustín Borrino has played for the Argentinian national team.
Borrino was the youngest member on Argentina's team at the 2019 Pan American Games; the teenager was four years younger than their next-youngest, Lucas Ramón. He got into one game, relieving Rodrigo Bruera with a 7-0 deficit in the 8th inning against Silver Medal-bound Canada. He retired Jordan Procyshen and Jonathan Malo for a strong start. Tyson Gillies hit into an error by Jacinto Cipriota to cost Borrino a 1-2-3 inning. Given a reprieve, Canada took advantage. Wes Darvill and Eric Wood singled to make it 8-0 and Connor Panas drew a walk. Jordan Lennerton then singled in two more runs to make it a mercy rule ending.
