Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Adam Walker began his professional career in 2012.

He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 3rd round of the 2012 amateur draft after a successful career at Jacksonville University - which included a .409/.486/.682, 13 home runs, 74 RBI season in 2011. He signed for a bonus of $490,400.

With the Elizabethton Twins in 2011, Walker hit .250/.310/.496 with 14 home runs and 45 RBI in 58 games. He hit .278/.319/.526 with 27 home runs, 109 RBI and 83 runs scored in 129 games for the Cedar Rapids Kernels, leading the league in home runs, RBI and total bases (267), while being named Player of the Week three times, a Midwest League Mid- and Post-Season All-Star, the Topps Midwest League Player of the Year and an MiLB.com Organization All-Star. In 2014, he hit .246/.307/.436 with 25 home runs and 94 RBI in 132 games for the Fort Myers Miracle. He was a Florida State League Mid- and Post-Season All-Star.

Walker's father, Adam, played in the NFL in 1987, and his second cousin is Damion Easley [1].
