Greater Nevada Field is the home of the Reno Aces, the Arizona Diamondbacks’ Class Triple-A farm team. Built in just over a year, very quickly for a Triple-A stadium, the brick ballpark and the team that was formerly the Tucson Sidewinders, together key a retail/dining/nightlife complex. It returned affiliated baseball to Reno, NV which hosted the only non-California club in the California League for nearly four decades ending in 1992.

The playpen's working name was Sierra Nevada Stadium, but by its 2009 opening it had been renamed Aces Ballpark for the nickname the team had taken. Greater Nevada Credit Union bought naming rights in 2016. Due to an odd design, the furthest home run distance from home plate is not in the usual center field but in right-center.
