Daybreak Field

From BR Bullpen

Daybreak Field, formally Daybreak Field at America First Square, will open in 2025 as the home of the Salt Lake Bees of the Pacific Coast League, replacing Smith's Ballpark. Contrary to its predecessor, which was located in downtown Salt Lake City, UT, this ballpark is located in a suburb, the planned-development community of Daybreak located in South Jordan, UT, 20 miles south of the previous location, where the corporation that inherited the team from late owner Larry H. Miller bought 1,300 acres of undeveloped land and announced plans for construction on January 17, 2023.

The schedule for construction was respected, and although there was some speculation that the team may seize upon the move to change its identity, it confirmed in November 2024 that it would retain its long-time name, only making small changes to its logo and branding.

Seating capacity will be 6,500.
