2006 European Cupwinners Cup
The 2006 European Cupwinners Cup was played in Prague, Czech Republic. Only six teams participated and once again no Italian teams played in this competition.
The Konica Minolta Pioniers won the cup for a second time as they easily beat French club Savigny Lions in the final. The Pioniers were appearing in their fourth consecutive Cupwinners Cup final. This was Savigny's third appearance in a European final.
