The 1977 Southern States Conference baseball Championship Series was held May 6-7 in Montevallo, AL. South champion Birmingham-Southern College defeated North champion University of Montevallo for the title. The scores of the second day's games are unavailable at present.
Both schools advanced to the District 27 tournament.
