1970 Bolivarian Games
The 1970 Bolivarian Games were the 6th Bolivarian Games to include baseball. Held in Maracaibo in 1970, the host Venezuela won its fourth straight gold. Colombia got Silver for the 4th straight time; their team included Luis Escobar. Bronze Medal winner Panama (also their 4th in a row) included Roy Blake and Emilio Castro. Ecuador had Olmedo Arroba and Francisco Sánchez.
