1951 Bolivarian Games
The 1951 Bolivarian Games were the third Bolivarian Games and were held in Caracas. Venezuela again won Gold, followed by Colombia. Panama won Bronze.
Blas Rodríguez of Venezuela threw a no-hitter against runner-up Colombia. Colombia's team was managed by Nicasio Flórez with Pablo Arrieta as coach. Players were Guillermo Muñoz, Eduardo Cañate, Enrique Romerín, Luis Arrieta, Aníbal Casanova, Fernando Montalvo, José Meléndez, Antonio Ojeda, Antonio Anaya, Severo Ballesteros, José Baldiris, Pedro Ortiz, Julio de la Vega, Enrique Castillo, Humberto Román, José Arellano, Celedonio Navarro, Carlos Periñán and Gilberto Figueroa.
