Biographical Information[edit]
Blas Rodríguez pitched for the Venezuelan national team that won Silver in the 1951 Amateur World Series. In the 1951 Bolivarian Games, he threw a no-hitter against Colombia in the first game played at Estadio Universitario de Caracas. Venezuela won Gold. He played in the 1952 Amateur World Series and won another Silver in the 1953 Amateur World Series. He was on Venezuela's team that won Gold in the 1954 Central American and Caribbean Games but was sidelined by injuries that ended his career.
