History, Comments, Contributions[edit]
The 1924 Brooklyn Robins won 12 straight road games from August 25th to the first game of September 6th; it was the franchise record until the 2013 Los Angeles Dodgers won 13 in a row in July and August. The Robins' streak also included a three-game sweep of the New York Giants for 15 straight wins. They were seven games back of first place when the streak started, reached a tie for first place on September 4th, but never managed to finally pass the first-place Giants. They would manage another tie for first on September 22nd, but went 2-2 over their last four games to finish a game and a half back of New York.
