1900 American League
From BR Bullpen
The 1900 American League was a minor league, renamed after operating as the Western League prior to that time. It became a major league in 1901 (see American League) and another league continued to operate as the Western League.
The league in 1900 consisted of eight teams, with the Chicago team winning the pennant.
