Biographical Information[edit]

Zeyuan Li has played for the Beijing Tigers of the China Baseball League. He made history as the first Chinese player in the Shikoku-Kyushu Island League in Japan, appearing for the 2009 Kagawa Olive Guyners. He struggled, going 2-for-21 with 13 strikeouts and three walks. He played for the China Stars in the 2012 Asia Series and for China in the 2013 East Asian Games. In the 2015 Asian Championship, he was the starting third baseman for the Chinese national team. He was their second-oldest player, but almost eight years younger than Wei Wang. He was 2 for 12 with two walks, two runs and two RBI while playing error-free ball at the hot corner. He tied Xiao Cui for second on China in runs, two behind Chuang Na.
