Biographical Information[edit]

Yves Louchard played for the French national team in the 1995 European Championship. Starting in left field and hitting 6th in their opener against Russia, he was 1 for 5 against Andrei Bogatyrev and Vladimir Petrov and handled three putouts. He hit .259/.250/.370 with six runs in seven games, and homered against Slovenia. He also pitched briefly, relieving Carlos Jiminian and closing out against the Dutch national team - in 1 2/3 IP, he allowed two hits, two walks and two runs while fanning one.
