Biographical Information[edit]

Yusvani Bonne played for the Cuban women's national team.

In the 2016 Women's Baseball World Cup, she played five games at DH. Debuting against Pakistan, she grounded in a run her first at-bat, facing Sadia Bibi. Her first hit came against the Netherlands, a double off Marijke van Veen. She finished at .231/.375/.538, tying Claudia Jorge for the team lead in slugging. [1] Her next appearance was in the 2023 Women's Baseball World Cup, when she batted .143/.200/.214, playing left field (3 PO, 1 A, 0 E) and DH. She drove in their only run against Taiwan. [2] Following the tournament, she defected from Cuba. [3]
