Biographical Information

Yusuke Kurita pitched in the Nippon Pro Baseball and the CPBL.

Kurita was drafted by the Kintetsu Buffaloes in the 7th round of the 2003 NPB draft, but he only pitched one game in 2004. The Buffaloes merged with the Orix BlueWave in 2005, and Kurita missed the entire 2005 season due to a left shoulder injury. He was then released, and he pitched for an amateur team in 2006. The Sinon Bulls of the CPBL signed him in 2007, and Kurita pitched 47 games with a 5.45 ERA. He was 4th in appearances, tied with Travis Minix. Kurita left Taiwan after the 2007 season, and his professional career ended.
