Biographical Information

Yusong Lu has pitched in the independent leagues and in China.

Lu was 8-2 with a 1.99 ERA for the 2016 Shanghai Golden Eagles in the China Baseball League then moved to the Henan Elephants for 2017. He was on the Chinese national team roster for the 2017 World Baseball Classic but was one of 2 pitchers not used on their 14-man staff; Xin Li was the other. He was part of a Chinese contingent that made up much of the 2018 Texas AirHogs, going 2-1 with a 4.43 ERA in 20 games before leaving the squad (along with many of his teammates) to play in the 2018 Asian Games.
