Biographical Information

Yung-Kun Lin had a brief career in the CPBL.

Lin represented Taiwan in the 2000 World Junior Championship. He was drafted by the La New Bears in the third round of the 2005 CPBL Draft, but he was released after staying in the minors for 2 years. The Chinatrust Whales picked him up, and Lin hit .201/.272/.232 in 2008. He was involved in a game-fixing scandal after that season, and the league banned him for life.
