Biographical Information

Yun-Chen Tai played in the CPBL.

Tai represented Taiwan in the 2018 U-23 Baseball World Cup, batting .174/.240/.435 and tying for 7th with two homers; he had 7 putouts, two assists and an error in the outfield. He was drafted by the Fubon Guardians in the 6th round of the 2019 CPBL Draft, and he hit .304/.411/.491 in the CPBL minor league in 2020. He debuted against the Rakuten Monkeys on September 17, 2021, and he got his first CPBL hit against Bradin Hagens on September 20. Tai ended up hitting .083/.313/.167 in 2021, and he was 4-for-14 in 2022. He had a .265/.351/.381 batting line in the minors in 2023, and he went 5-for-20 in the major league.
