Biographical Information[edit]
Yousuke Shinomiya was an infielder who represented Japan in the 2001 Asian Championship, 2002 Asian Games, 2003 Baseball World Cup (going 5-for-10 with two doubles, three walks, two HBP, two runs and four RBI as a backup to Daisuke Kusano at 2B and Akihide Shimizu at 3B; he reached four times in the Bronze Medal Game win and had a sacrifice hit his other time up) and 2006 Asian Games. He played for Nissan in the Industrial League after college.
