Biographical Information[edit]
Yoshiki Yamada has pitched for the Japanese national team.
After college, he pitched for Seibu Gas in the industrial leagues. [1] In the 2019 Asian Championship, he allowed one run in five (3 H, 0 BB, 7 K) to beat China and Haonan Zhang; Masaru Fujii relieved. Entering the Medal Games, he was tied with Jae-min Kang for 7th in ERA and tied for 5th in strikeouts. He got the nod in the Gold Medal Game but allowed a three-run triple to Jin-De Jhang in the second and was replaced by Shota Abe in the 3rd; he got a no-decision in the 5-4 loss to Taiwan. [2]
