Biographical Information

Yi-Ming Hsiao played in the CPBL. He is the cousin of former MLB player Tzu-Wei Lin.

Hsiao was drafted by the Fubon Guardians in the 9th round of the 2018 CPBL Draft, and he hit .121/.121/.152 in the minors in 2019. He struggled again in 2020 as he only hit .189/.304/.324, and he improved to .288/.306/.356 in 2021. Hsiao made his CPBL debut on August 12, 2021, and he collected his first career his against Xi-Kai Teoh on August 26. He ended up having a 5-for-36 record with the big club in 2021. He then spent his next two seasons in the minor league, and he only got 14 at-bats combined.
