Woodrow Wilson was the first President to attend a World Series, when he went to Game Two of the 1915 Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and Boston Red Sox. After leaving the White House, he frequently attended Washington Senators games at Griffith Stadium.
He was president of Princeton University from 1902-10, during which time there were a number of players on the Princeton teams who eventually came to the big leagues. However, none of them became particularly prominent at the major league level.
