Biographical Information

Woo-chan Lee pitched in the KBO. His uncle is KBO legendary pitcher Jin-woo Song.

Lee was drafted by the LG Twins in the 2nd round of the 2011 KBO draft, and he mainly stayed in the minors in his first eight seasons. He only pitched 4 games combined in that period, and he also spent 2 years in the military. Lee was 5-4 with a 4.85 ERA in 2019, and he led the league in walks (tied with Deck McGuire). Lee then spent most of his 2020 season in the minors, and he had a 5.56 ERA in 15 games in 2021. He became a full-time reliever in 2022, and he had a solid 1.81 ERA in 36 games. He collected 5 holds with a 3.52 ERA in 38 relief outings in 2023, but he slumped to a 8.82 ERA in 42 games in 2024.

Lee's repertoire included a fastball (peak 93.2 mph) and curveball.
